Nepal Bidhya Bhusan Award “A” & Gold Medal received from The Right Honourable President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on September 8, 2017
Parajuli Raj Kumar, Ph.D., researcher from Research Program for Heavy Ion Therapy, Division of Integrated Oncology Research has received the award; Nepal Bidhya Bhusan Award “A” & Gold Medal in his home country, Nepal on 8th September 2017.
He received the “A” Category award from the President, Bidya Devi Bhandari in Kathmandu Nepal, on the occasion of the 37th National Education Day, presented different education awards to various students receiving college and university degrees with outstanding results.
President Bhandari honoured the winners with Nepal Bidhya Bhusan Padak (‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’) in a special ceremony at the Rastrapati Bhawan (President House). On the occasion, Nepal Bidya Bhusan Padak ‘A’, the most prestigious literary award to be presented from the government, was presented to 215 individuals holding the Ph. D degrees from various universities at home and abroad till 2017.
