On Nov. 12th, the 2nd GIAR International Exposome Symposium took place. After the welcome address by GIAR Chairperson Kenji Kubota, the invited speakers presented their researches focusing on the effects of the full complement of exposures (e.g., environmental, diet, lifestyle) upon health and disease. Each fruitful lecture derived a number of eager discussions from the dedicated audience and gave us opportunities for networking and interdisciplinary research. Finally, this symposium successfully ended with the closing remarks by GIAR International Open Lab-Karolinska Institutet Dr. Craig E. Wheelock. Through this event, we had over 50 attendees, and it was a great occasion to introduce the advanced research at GIAR.
